First of all I am really glad that I read these reviews. I truly thought that I was the only person who was going through all these problems. I am practically going to repeat what everyone has said. I still have not left the property but if I had the chance I would not stay for another day. Having paid six month rent in advance because they failed to receive our application form, we were given a random flat that was nothing like the one we applied for and since we drove from all the way from Germany and the car van had to be sent back we had no option but to take it. They promised us that the carpets were going to be changed, it's been 4 months and we are still waiting for them to get a quota. There is a huge crack on the ceiling and on the outside wall which causes the windows to be condensed from the inside. They fail to answer your emails and phone calls and are very very very rude (apart from this one guy, I can't remember his name unfortunately). Now that I know they cause a lot of problems in returning the deposit (thanks to all the reviewers!) I will take extra precautions when moving out. I took pictures of every crook and nanny and advise everyone to do the same. Although we decided to move out the minute we moved in we still fixed a lot of the things in the house that could cause huge problems like dampness etc.
What agent could do to change your mind?
1) they have to change their attitude.
2) keep their promises
3) stick to the agreement
4) be more concerned about their reputation
5) Allow tenants to get in direct contact with the landlord as they seem to blame them all the time.
