We had one sale fall through and were very frustrated with Spencers. We were pushed repeatedly by the agents which was very stressful, only to learn that we we not the one's delaying the process.
It was frequently difficult to get information from the agents and it felt very much like we were being messed around.

I am sorry you were disappointed with the efforts to try and secure your first purchase. I have spoken with the Office Manager who has explained your case. I understand this particular Vendor engaged the services of a Solicitor (unknown to us) who made a number of errors and was frustratingly slow in making the appropriate corrections.
Then for whatever reason decided to apply various ultimatums without his client instructions or ours? This is why we always suggest the choice of an approved Solicitor (known to us) and thankfully the majority of our clients take our advice and appoint Solicitors we recommend.
As I understand and thankfully, all seemed to turn out for the best, as you ended up with an alternative and preferred property.
