An absolutely awful service. Rude staff who lie, YES "LIE" to you. We have rented a house in Ashford which we picked the keys up for this morning and it was filthy. We called plsmoveme2 who said the property had been cleaned when it clearly had not. The heating system was inoperable and the garage door was also inoperable. great when we're on the day before moving in. Our call was met with no helpful assistance whatsover. As soon as we paid our money the attitude of plsmoveme2 changed. What was a warm fuzzy feeling during the 'sell', has now been totally undone by the totally unacceptable service we have received. This was the only site I could find to register my discontent.
To all site visitors, please advise your friends & collegues that this site exists because we as tenants and landlords deserve a truly unbiased information library regarding letting agents and their services.

I was a tenant for a couple of years with PLS and I was very happy with the service provided by them.
Any maintenance issues were always resolved immediately and when I left they were very professional and I had my security deposit back quickly....

AFAIK the 2 months notice is required by law as a part of assured shorthold tenancy with fixed term contract. Not their fault then.
I had the same and because I gave notice a couple of days after the day when we used to pay the rent, our notice was close to 3 months and we nearly lost the house we were buying. We ended up paying the first mortgage and the rent for the old house at the same time. I think it's supposed to protect landlords. ...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
