This review is going to sound like it is completely made up but please believe me it is true. I moved out of my property in May 2010. At this point I put my property on the market with a local estate agent at an agreed price. After 12 months and several price reductions no sale and no real contact with the estate agent unless I contacted them. I then moved to another local estate agent and had exactly the same issues. Very poor service lack of contact and any time I called for an update same old message of a few people have taken the particulars but that was about it.
So having not sold the house in 3 years and living 200 miles away I was very concerned. I then contacted Manning Stainton initially to discuss a conditional auction to get the house moved. Excellent advice was received but decided that the traditional method of sale will still be my preferred route. It was agreed that Manning Stainton would market my property. Full details were given over the phone and a valuation and photograph session arranged within days of first contact. The particular were created and I agreed on the content and signed the sale agreement. This is the best bit, within 24 hours a viewing had been made and within 48 hours the hold was sold. YES THE HOUSE SOLD IN 48 HOURS AFTER BEING ON THE MARKET FOR 3 YEARS!!
A fantastic service totally different to what I had received before. If I did not live 200 miles away I would definitely be using Manning Stainton when I sell my next house. They were excellent. Thank you.
