The agency is very nice at the beginning and tend to respond to queries via e-mail quickly. However with the actual maintenance there were some delays. This particular property had poor materials used in the bathroom, especially the bathroom panel. We were promised a refurbished house but we were dissapointed with the level of work done and mess left after. Even though this was reported, we were still charged for it because we did not continuously report that it kept falling out of place. This happened even though we only used the bathroom about 3 times during the entire tenancy.
The company also charge every time a late payment is made. This is fair but even when you let them know in advance that you may not have the money for a certain date they will still charge you. So be careful as this may add up and they will not notify you until the end of a quarter. Lastly, the agency charged for general cleaning even though we cleaned the property at the end.

In general they are very laid back throughout the tenancy but they will aim to charge you as much as they can with unexpected and minute items when it is time to return your deposit.

Purple Frog are the worst agency I have ever come across. They have no idea about how to run a business, let alone assist people with letting and maintaining properties. They only answer phone calls if you are enquiring about a house, and once they have received your money they don't want to know, They won't answer or return calls, and very rarely respond to emails. Their idea of a 'refurbished' property is not quite the same as any tenant would expect, and their customer service is appalling.
