Be wary of this lot. Jeff Lowe and Monica Lowe have found a convenient way of subverting Council authority with this "artist" Live and Work scheme, which is more of a scam. They supply dogey electrics, and no gas. One of their buildings burned to the ground, and the other has had fires because of dogey electrics. No safety anywhere. They also run it like a prison camp - their maintenance men keep tabs on everyone, and try to enter the properties whenever they like. We did not have clear access to the door most days, as they allow the business next door to use the entrance as a parking lot. The units are not insulated, not weatherproofed. There is an ongoing black mould & damp problem throughout. Monica's standard answer to complaints is "If you don't want to live here you're free to go".
What agent could do to change your mind?
There's really nothing to be done except renovate these dilapidated, uninhabitable units and start over. The council seriously needs to take a look at this live and work loophole.Attached Filesnbsp;
