We engaged Greene & Co as exclusive letting agents and managers. I cannot describe how terrible they have been to deal with, without a doubt - the worst organization I have EVER dealt with (not only real estate agents - all organizations).
Alex Piroli attended at our flat and pitched for our work and she is the one person in the office that seems to have a semblance of sense and responsiveness and on the strength of her apparent professionalism we gave Greene & Co the work after meeting with two other agents.
But we were quickly handballed to Suay, who seemed to be acting more for the prospective tenants than us - essentially trying to force us to take tenants that we didn't want because it was an easy commission for her. Half way through the letting process we were handballed to Stefano - again - none of the tenant preferences that we had expressed to Alex seem to have been communicated to Stefano and he kept telling us that a prospective tenant was 'the perfect tenant' even though they didn't really meet our preferences because it involved moving furniture etc.
The real nightmare began when the managers took over - first we were passed to Victoria and then we were passed to Natalie. Again and again we had to send chasing emails to find out what was happening on various points - and still no response. The preparation of the lease took two weeks to do because one particular point hasn't been included and then it became clear the tenants hasn't been told of this, even though Stefano told us it was agreed. In the end we felt like we had to negotiate against our own agents because they kept getting us to try and accept something we didn't want.
Oh and although we signed an initial letting and management agreement, when it came to sign the agreement for lease they slipped in further terms in favour of themselves which had not been previously agreed or discussed.
To try and cut through all of this we have had to call on Alex a number of times but the matters still not finished, we don't have any response to a number of points, no copy of our inventory and she doesn't respond either.
Generally there seems to be no communication or management within the office and the front staff our rude.
Never, ever, ever use this company. At the first opportunity we will terminate our relationship with them. I only wish we could door now because they are causing us so much stress and anxiety when they are meant to be the ones taking this away from us by taking over management of the property.
