On the whole Galliard weren't too bad, but in general I must say I found them quite slow and not massively friendly. A few examples below highlight why I found this:
1. In the lead up winter the heating stopped working in our flat. We informed them about this but nothing happened - I called them up a week later asking why nothing had happened but was told it was my responsibility to let them know if the problem wasn't fixed. In the end we ended up calling them daily and having over three weeks with no heating. In the end I just bought my own electric heaters!
2. There were a couple of items never attended to including a broken Extractor fan and Towel rail loose. I told the twice but never bothered following up again as I figured I'd done all I could!
3. They wanted to charge £30 for a reference which I found disgraceful! That's one of the few responsibilities of a letting agent - but, in their defence once I kicked up a fuss they waived the fee.
4. They were quite rigid with entering the flat when we were on holiday and we felt as though we had no choice but to let them in. It wasn't that bigger deal but it didn't come across as particularly friendly!
5. This wasn't Galliards fault per se, but their check out clerk missed his appointment and left me waiting in an empty flat for an hour! I wasn't happy at all, especially when they charged for items missing that weren't - but in Galliards defence this was overruled when I disputed it.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend them but you could do a lot worse in London. There are a lot of hidden charges and administrative fees that are quite annoying but galliard aren't alone with this. On the whole I'd say they were ok.
*i have put recommend below, but only as there are two options available. If you want to live in county hall, unfortunately you don't get a lot of choice!
