I wouldn't normally be compelled to write a review on an estate agent, as they're all pretty much the same; they want to take the tenant's money, and never hear from them again. However, Buckley Frayne are different. They're worse. To be fair, they're a bit better than most with regard to competency, but their customer service is absolutely shocking.

The first person I dealt with was their customer services rep, who clearly despises tenants and can't stand to speak with them on the phone. A fine choice for someone who has to do the job day in, day out then. From the very first time I spoke with her, she was extremely rude, confrontational and unhelpful, and the few subsequent phone calls were the same (I wasn't pestering, I had a genuine query and she refused to pass on my message to management). I make a point of keeping calm and being civil to people on the phone, but this company makes that extremely difficult.

I ended up with Buckley Frayne after my landlord switched from another during my tenancy. I would not recommend them to anyone, and I certainly wouldn't consider renting through them myself again.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Employ people who don't actively despise prospective or existing tenants.
