The fridge was not broken but causing a humming noise which caused the tenant stress when trying to sleep and watch TV. We sent out engineers straight away who could not hear any noises. We then sent out an engineer specifically requested by the tenant who also couldn't find a fault, many visits later this was rectified by an engineer. The washing machine did break, however the tenant offered the landlord to buy a new one himself, the landlord agreed.
