I am landlord and have used the Hitching branch several times, given plenty of chances to redeem themselves, but have now had it with them and looking for a way to complain right upto the top and get legal advise due to loss of earnings etc..
1. Not bothered to process the direct debit filled in by my tenants. Meaning I had to organise this myself with them.. What do I pay them for...?
2. Cost on an Inventory £120 and this is not passed onto tenants...on top of this charge me another £120 for amendments to pass onto new tenants?
3. All they care about is taking the 65% cuts from a tenant find...
4. Phone manner could be better..
5. Releasing the DPS deposit without contacting me leaving me to pick up pieces on broken furniture and cleaning bills.

This is a completely nonfactual and a false reference. We are proud, voluntary members of The Property Ombudsman, The National Approved Letting Scheme and Safe Agent which defines a code of conduct. We have never received this complaint to our office, our central office nor to any of the previously mentioned schemes. We have also never charged £120.00 to make amendments to an inventory nor have we released a deposit with a landlords permission. We pride ourselves on delivering a superior service for both tenant and landlord which has earned us numerous high profile industry awards and being one of the top performing agents within our Belvoir network and within our town. We take any genuine complaints very seriously.
