Hi Helen, we are sorry you feel this way and feel it only right to respond accordingly. Firstly, we don't believe anyone at Keatons, to include myself, were aggressive or patronising. When we spoke I was merely stating some facts about your sale and the price we had achieved. They are as follows: the price you completed at is a record price for your block (1 beds) by £18,000, no-one has sold for more money, this can be seen at Zoopla sold prices and the Land Registry. The surveyor acting for the lender commented in his report that he felt the purchase price was at the higher end of the market value. It tooks us approximately 8 weeks and 15 viewings to find a buyer.
I don't think any of that adds up to us under valuing/selling the property.
As you are aware we approached the buyer to see if he was prepared to pay more as per your instructions and he declined, sighting further evidence to indicate the price you were selling at was indeed a very good one.
That aside, you were in your perfect rights to withdraw from the tranasction at any stage, to include when the buyer declined to increase his offer, if you felt you were under selling the property.
