I have been leaving in London for last five years now and have never been so positively surprised by an estate agent! The agents at Winkworth (Green Lanes, Tottenham) have been very professional, helpful and efficient during what was a stressful period of time for me. I saw the property on Tuesday, all the paper work was done online and by the following monday my letting has been finalised. By following Saturday I moved in.
The letting agents were also very quick to answer my emails. They also did a big favour to me and fellow tenants as we could move our personal belongings in before the actual tenancy started! It save us money and even though our stuff was in the property during refurbishment works nothing got damaged and the flat was in great condition once we moved in.
The only thing I think they could improve on is returning the phone calls quicker. That being said the e-mail way of communicating seems to be very quick so it isn't a major disadvantage.
Overall a great experience, would strongly recommend this particular estate agents; they seem to be fair and if our relationship continues the way it is I am going to stick with them for a while.

What agent could do to change your mind?
The agency needs to act in a much more professional manner, respect the law and their clients. As you can see from my review above they stepped well beyond any acceptable mark of behaviour, customer service and even the law. They showed no signs of acknowledging responsibility for their behaviour or of the genuine distress they caused their own customers.Attached Filesnbsp;
