I tried to arrange a viewing around 6pm but they said no because they said the last time they can arrange one due to staff travelling is 4.30pm. I work in London and couldn't get there any earlier. Then the manager said, go find a suitable property in that block to view, if I like that then I can rent the one they are offering, as they all look the same. Then they have the cheek to ask for a

As a professional lettings agency belonging to the voluntary Property Ombudsman and a member of NALS (National approved lettings scheme) we endeavour to treat every customer with the utmost respect and courtesy. We take our customer service very seriously. As the Managing Director of Belvoir Lettings Camberley I would like to respond to the review listed. As a lettings agent it is our duty to source a good quality tenant and look out for the landlord's property and best interests at all times. A potential tenant that is rude to staff members and is not willing to view a property at weekends or during the week but only on a specific day and time and further more one that then threatens to write reviews if his demands are not met is simply a potential tenant that we look to avoid housing. Taking a reservation fee to hold a property and take it off the market is an industry standard. This is refundable if the tenant cannot move in through no fault of their own. Placing such a problem tenant in a property is in the long run not beneficial for the landlord as future problems would only occur through no fault of the landlord or agent. Therefore as an agent our pre vetting process over the phone works to avoid such problem tenants.
