I responded to a "Fox and Sons have sold another property in your road........ and searching (on behalf) of disappointed purchaser who lost out on......." etc.
After a visit from their Sales Negotiator at which we agreed a 1% commission (on a £500,000 house) I visited the agents to sign the contract, to be told the commission was now 1.5% because Head Office insisted. Nonetheless I gave them a 4 week contract to sell it - since they said they had buyers waiting.
During the 4 weeks I heard nothing. I had no contact from them, no viewers, nothing. Even now, as the contact has expired I have still heard nothing. I did not sell my house through them.
The whole exercise was a futile waste of time and effort. I certainly will not deal with Fox & Sons again!

I totally agree with GP,s comments. Communication is awful or non. We had people turn up to view the property we knew nothing about and also no shows on arranged viewings the agent was the no show. Foxs if possible nil points.
