Where to start... 1 start is more than deserved.
Firstly, we had to chase them to pay deposits, sign papers etc just days before moving. Bearing in mind they knew we were moving from London. On arriving at 6pm to collect keys we were told we had the wrong paper work... Even though we had done all paperwork sent. They left us at6pm in the cold with a baby refusing keys. Turned out the incredibly efficient Lilly faraday-white had posted them to our London address that day?? Maybe a lesson in how the postal service works/geography/time travel is needed. So we were stood outside a house we had paid for and signed for with a baby and van of furniture stranded. After 1 hour of arguing we finally took our cold tired family inside.... To a filthy house.
This is just the start...
2 sets of standing orders filled in, 1st admittedly lost by fulfords, second who knows but 5 months on still no standing order set up by them. We get harassing rude phone calls every month saying our rent is in arrears when a standing order is part of their contract!!
Then there is the management, after 4 months of complaints the leak in the conservatory not fixed so when it rains we run about with towels and saucepans to save a flood. The shower has been broken for 2 months, after a few phone calls we have been left a message saying we have another shower so it's not urgent and what is our problem? Well, as we have explained to them the 2nd shower, an old fashioned thing, is next to our childrens room and makes a lot of noise so we can not shower between 6.30pm and 6.30 am my partner has to go to the gym before work every morning just to shower. But what's our problem right?!
Not to mention the broken toilet that we have to take the back off to flush...
When I called today I was told your rent is in arrears (2days due to your incompetence) so nothing will be fixed as urgent and we'll just have to wait
We pay £1000 per month, these are just the current/ongoing problems, there are many others that we live with or have been told do not matter and the attitude of these people is disgusting.
To avoid the horrendous 5 months we have endured with these incompetent, unprofessional people please. Please avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!
What agent could do to change your mind?
Fulfords need to hire competent staff in exmouth as their exeter branch seem so much better!! Really is just rude incompetent staff that do not care
