The agents were fantastic in helping us find a suitable tenant for our property. Not only did they manage to find a suitable tenant, but they found one efficiently and quickly and we have not had any issues or problems since.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Follow professional guidelines from day 1. No hidden costs, no hidden information that they spring on you after you have signed the contract. Tranparency.

What you have written in absolutely inaccurate, and I have had the same experience as the person above. You stipulate the fees for certain checks - thee fees are grossly in-proportionate to the actual cost of carrying out these services. A credit check costs less than a pound, but tenants are charged excessively for this. Your contracts are not unchangeable, and your terms and length of contract usually are pushed through to ensure minimum benefit for the tenant. Veritas has never been rec ...

Should not lie about extra contract length Should not lie about correspondence with landlord Should not try to extract extra fees when initial agreements were made Better customer service and property management

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
