Following my recent departure from my rented property let to me by leaders, i will never ever recommend this company to anyone. For example:
They knowingly let this property to me with an illegal stair case breaking all health and safety rules, two months before my tenancy was finished they inspected the property and stated that the garden shed was falling apart and was unsafe to enter. They also regularly entered my house with a key without informing me, once whilst I was ill in bed.
When i first moved in they left me without any hot water or heating for 3 days, the gas fitter said I was lucky he came over as the boiler could have exploded due to pressure with the gas. Neighbours had told me that every tenant that had been in that property had never received their full deposit back no matter how the house was left.
When I moved in there was mould growing through the carpet, on the walls and the conservatory roof constantly leaked water.
The staff in the horsham office are extremely rude and unhelpful and all seem to have the same attitude of I don't care and there is nothing us as tenants can do about it, they've kept back a big chunk of my deposit for carpets I had cleaned when I moved out, changing of 3 light bulbs and have charged 50 pound to attached a curtain hook which fell off 3 weeks after i moved in.
If you should rent a house from Leaders check the property, take photos and check the house is suitable to be let in regards to health and safety.
