I am a landlord who rang Steren Estates looking to provide them long term lettings every year during the winter season at my holiday home. First impressions, I found them to be very inflexible in their approach. They told me that I needed to spend £120 on an electrical certificate even though it is not the law. I am an experienced landlord and understand my obligations fully with this anyway. When I questioned it politely via email. I was shocked by the frosty reply I received. Citing Company Policy. It made me question was I choosing the right agent to rent my holiday home. I thought perhaps maybe I was being too hard so I would call them. I was surprised by the unfriendliness of the staff member who seemed to be very inexperienced and incredibly abrupt almost rude and needed to consult her boss on holiday in France. This lead me to conclude that they are not a professional outfit and I decided that I would be better off going elsewhere. As a landlord, I would recommend you try another agent. One that will work hard for your business, provide a friendly & professional service and go the extra mile in the event of issues.
