TIme Wasters.......Severely undervalued property... 100k under next lowest, 150k under highest , 200k under another similar local property being marketed under the Mansell McTaggart Banner.
Profitability for the branch would appear more important than getting the best price for the vendor.
The business set up of the Company needs consideration by any prospective vendor....Although you may think you are dealing with a large estate agency with many branches, each branch appears to be its own ltd company with its own company Director. The profitability of a branch will be linked to Director's earnings. In theory to safeguard the profitability of other branches, this set up would allow a branch to fail and close without direct impact on the other branches.
How involved Mansell McTaggart Ltd is in overseeing for example, Mansell McTaggart Crowborough Ltd? I suspect not much! Do they approve or check over director's valuations? How can such a disparity exist between local prices of properties sold under their banner through different branches? The only explanation can be that it really depends which branch you are with.
Mansell McTaggart Ltd really need to get a handle on this as otherwise they are allowing their professional memberships to be used as a smoke screen for sharp practice.
