The property that my partner and I moved into was described incorrectly in the advert that I initially responded to. I advised The Lettings Department that I needed a property with off-road parking when I spoke with them after responding to the advert. The admin fee was unusually high but as the property seemed to suit our needs we went ahead with it, and after our references were checked we paid the deposit, signed the contract and moved in. However, annoyingly someone was parked in my parking space. I contacted Jack and asked him if the other tenants at the property were using the space, and he assured me that the space was mine and he would find out who was using it. It later transpired that the space belongs to a neighbour, so Jack Rees and the Lettings Department consistently lied about the parking situation from the initial advert right up until after we had signed the contract. Since then I have had no apology and no offer to reduce our rent. They are 'allowing' us to break our contract and leave early... how good of them! I would strongly recommend giving The Lettings Department a very wide berth - the attitude they've taken with regards to their mistake is 's*** happens'. Will never use them again and I advise anyone else considering using them to run a mile!
