I called the Franklyn James office and left 2 messages to try and book a valuation in. Only on the 3rd time did i reach Lee.
The valuation of my apartment was way off what all other agents advised. There was no comparable evidence as all the other agents supported, the valuation itself was rushed and Lee sat looking at his phone while I was talking and gave no indication he was in any way interested.
I used Franklyn James a couple of years ago and the service was not great then but their location to my apartment made me consider them again despite my friends advising otherwise. I went with another agent in the end and the property was let within a week to a good professional tenant.
Would not recommend them at all, poor service.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback in respect of attendance to your property by Franklyn James, in particular myself. I am surprised to hear such comments regarding my attendance as being a Lettings Manager I pride myself on my professionalism when conducting processes such as valuations and as such I am able to state with true conviction that under no circumstances would I sit looking at my phone during a valuation.
In my position as Lettings Manager I do of course have a work mobile phone which should it ring during the course of my attendance I would immediately look to silence the call in order to continue with the matter at hand.
If you can advise the first line of the address to which this relates I will of course happily look into the valuation provided to you and explain the reasoning further behind the market rent suggested to you as part of this valuation. Alternatively if you are not happy to provide your address please confirm your surname as I will be able to locate the information required to provide suitable evidence relating to the valuation which was undertaken.
