Thomas Wyers was claiming to be the private landlord of a property I had seen listed on the internet. I called him. He was well spoken and polite. We arranged that he would meet me at the property the following evening to show me around.
When the time came, I was at the door of the property but he was nowhere to be seen. I tried - MANY times - to call him, but the 'phone rang out each time. He was refusing to answer my call. I wondered if he might be inside the property, waiting for me to knock, with a dead 'phone. I knocked on the door.
It was eventually answered by a scared looking old woman. I tried to explain why I was there, and ask if Thomas was around, but she looked quite alarmed and asked me to wait while she fetched her daughter, who speaks better English. The daughter also looked rather frightened, and said that she and her mother had been living in the house for three months now, the house was not available to rent, and they did not know anyone by the name of Thomas. I asked who the real landlord was, in the hopes I might let him know the situation, but she (quite rightly) declined to tell me, as I was a stranger, and went back inside.
Somewhat confused by all this, I knocked on the house next door and met a very friendly woman who told me that she knew the property in question was let through Kilostate, and not Foxwood. Nor was Thomas the landlord. She expressed concern for her neighbours.
In my continued quest to find a property (a day of my very limited time having been wasted) I have since found no end of properties supposedly available through Foxwood, but which have been let months ago by other companies.

We have reported this 'review' as it is guilty of deception and fraud. Rather than go through each comment please offer any evidence of any director being investigated by the police - there isn't any as this is untrue and libellous. As I say we have reported this abuse and would hope that AllAgents prevent this from happening to us or any other agent. Sep 10, 2013
This is surprising. I registered my property to let with Foxwood and met them quite a few times. they were always at the viewings on time. Seemed professional and nice to deal with but I found a tenant through another agent in the end.

1. We showed you the information we gathered from the tenants who claimed to have 1 child, the only entered our premises with one child, and as such I do not know of any reasonable way that we could have disproved their claim.
2. On finding out they had 2 children (and with your service only being let only) we went above and beyond our legal responsibility to ensure the tenants were removed without failure to pay ...

We did have other prospective customers with similar concerns, and although she was a lovely lady she did not last for very long. Her English was much better in person/ when interviewing than on the phone. As previously mentioned she is no longer with us (although we wish her the best in all her future endeavors), and we are much happier with the staff we have now and we believe you would be too.
