I was a tenant with Cairn letting Gibson street glasgow,my god what a nightmare,the property was filthy inside and out,the gardens were a total disgrace,I got the house painted inside and got the gardens done,and even the neighbours commented in the progress,I got new carpets and underlay fitted as the house was freezing cold this was all done at my cost,I wish I hadn't been so desperate to get into a property,because these people at Cairns are on another planet they lie they don't carry out repairs they don't phone you back,they are a total shambles,no one in that office can carry out any tasks,they pass the buck totally,and as for the owner Scott brown he even slagged them off,but he wouldn't even pay to get the central heating fixed, this was a house from hell,the previous tenants wrecked the place and the police were always at the house for acts of violence and vandalism,so I moved in and the thugs came back I was threatened with my life money lenders at the door hitting windows with bricks and bottles,the police ended up putting a marker on the house and told me for my own safety move away,which I did,and yes I spent a lot of money in and outside of thr house,oh yes they have decided to take money from my large deposit,I spent over 2 thousand pounds in that house, So every one Stay away from cairn letting,they are rude,liars,and professional con artists they can find a way to keep your deposit they will make up any story to keep your money,I am now going to a lawyer concerning this shower of cowboys,they are well noted in the letting agency for ripping people off for there deposits,so be aware,and the cow boys that they let into your house are to be watched,I came home and I had two guys snipping about my house,Cairn said we had to get in and we couldn't get hold of you,,,more lies,,I have just moved from there now I can sleep at night without being threatened or abused or my door getting kicked in,and I have hot water and central heating that works and light switches that work,becaause I sat it that house for 15 months without heating and hot water while they took my money and left me to freeze in the winter,just so that the owner Scott Brown could get it done as a homer on the side,to save himself money,whilst we suffered with our health..I could go on and on,no one would believe the Torture we went thru,for two years solid. So Please Be Aware Of Cairn Letting and there staff.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent and owner could have been honest,and returned calls,and put proper veted people into these houses,they could have carried out repairs more promptly and professionally,and kept the tenant happy as he is the paying customer who pays there wages,honesty reliability and professionalism. They need to go and be sent on courses on how to treat people,with respect and be Curtis, never again in my lifetime will I ever recommend these people ever
