Ok, so glad I am not the only one who thinks Belvoir are a pile of poo!! We have twice been with Belvoir, thay are expensive as well as rude, incompetent liars. We had our deposit given back minus a fair portion in the first rented house from the Boston branch, and they even asked for more AFTER it was all deposited.
In the second in Sleaford branch we are 3 months down the line and still fighting for our deposit. We also had invoices for broken things to be fixed that were broken before we moved out and we did notify them. Not only that but one of them walked into the house without ringing the bell. Needless to say I will never use again and would not recommend them to anybody.

It was a pre-arranged inspection notified to the tenants in writing, they had signed a tenancy agreement to allow access providing adequate notice was given, which it was. Jan 25, 2011
Own goal I would say.I doubt the person posting this was trying to conceal their ID but even more so, what gives you the right to walk into a property without a court order?
This is the very actions that makes Belvoir some place to steer well clear of and it would appear to be common practice throughout the business.

We thought we would respond to your comments made about Sleaford Branch, as it is not difficult to work out who you are. For anyone reading this review please bear in mind that there are two sides to every story and in this instance this particular tenant was served notice due to persistent late rent and not behaving in a tenant like manner. We ended up using arbitration under the DPS scheme as we could not communicate reasonably with this ex tenant over the condition that he left the property in, we are entirely happy with the outcome of arbitration and would strongly recommend it to all tenants as long as your agent has accurate evidence. We would not recommend this tenant to any landlord or agent! With regards to entering with out ringing the doorbell - this happened when a member of staff together with the landlady visited the property to discuss the issue of the persistent late rent, the doorbell was rang several times and also the door was knocked on - only when the agent and landlady entered the property did the female tenant miraculously appear and state that she could not help us as her partner dealt with the finances - clearly she thought it was better to try and hide!
