Entertained selling through Winkworth, had them visit the property and gave what we thought was a reasonable selling price. This was met with almost laughter, we subsequently received a letter stating they had spent more time considering the appropriate value of the property given their knowledge and experience of the area, there recommendation was 20% below what we would have expected. We didn't proceed and went with another local agent who sold our property within 2 weeks of going to market after it had gone to sealed bids. Not to mention at a lower commission than Winkworth
Winkworth either are completely out of touch with the market, or rely on turnover rather than working for the customer. Go elsewhere.
