I cannot express my sheer disappointment and frustration with the estate agents who failed to address any of the issues we had with the property we were renting a flat from them in Bury and then had the audacity to withhold our deposit for no valid reason. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for our concerns throughout our tenancy, including when water came through the walls and when the front door failed to lock, is inexcusable. Not only did they fail in their responsibilities as a management company of the flat that we were renting in Bury, but they also showed a complete lack of respect by withholding a substantial amount of deposit money from us. When we arrived at the flat, it was not clean and we left it in a better position after we left. It is deplorable that they believe they are entitled to keep our hard-earned money without offering any justification or explanation. The level of incompetence and dishonesty displayed by these estate agents is absolutely infuriating, and we did not rest until we receive what is rightfully ours by taking the claim through legal channels and TDS. Following our tenancy, we found out that other people had the same experience and the post-rental maintenance team were overcharging and scamming renters.
