Upon the sad passing of my late father I had the job, as Executor to sell Dads home. In order to get some idea of value I arranged for three local Agents to come and value Dads home. The first Agent gave a value, having asked the precious valuation the second valued it at +£10,000. Both these Agents I felt gave an unnecessarily detrimental assessment of Dads home in order to indicate a lower value, possibley to secure a quick sale should I proceed with them. Scott from Bacons was the third. He didn't ask what the previous two valuations were but gave an honest assessment of his own. Right from the start I found him personable, helpful and most importantly honest. Throughout this entire process Scott has remained very patient, persistent and empathetic to me having to sell my Dads home of over 60 years.
Exchange of Contracts kept being stalled, Scott continued to chase the other Agents in the chain to find out why, he kept me informed throughout either by email or by replying to one of my many phone calls.
Although I am sure he had many other properties going through sales, all at various stages he always found time and never changed from being the personable, helpful person I first encountered.
I cannot recommend him, and by extension Bacons in Broadwater highly enough.
