This review doesn't go into much detail about all areas of the renting process, as so far (thankfully) we haven't had any maintenance issues, or any issues really, with the property we have rented. But from what we have experienced, we cannot think of a bad thing to say about our experience!
The whole application process, from the initial viewing, to collecting the keys was really straight-forward, with easy to understand application forms and instructions on the next steps. Any questions myself or my partner had were answered quickly and with detailed responses. Although the whole team at the Newcastle-under-Lyme branch were friendly and approachable, we dealt mostly with Roslyn and Hannah, both of whom were polite, and didn't once make us feel like we were asking silly questions. They made the whole experience streamlined and worry-free so that once we'd agreed on a move-in date, all we needed to focus on was getting ready to move (which is stressful in itself). We were given copies of all of the useful resources and guides, and were reassured that if we had any more questions, we could still contact the team, something we hadn't experienced with previous letting agents.
The inventories provided were extensive, which gave both of us peace of mind, knowing that everything was covered, and we were even given a heads up as to when the inventory would take place, so we could plan the time of our move as needed.

Thankyou for your review. I agree, there should be better and easier ways to remove tenants who are not paying, but we have to follow the current processes and the system can take a long time to recover a property. Unfortunately with the best referencing in place sometimes tenants can fall into arrears. This can be due to loss of job, illness, breakups or they may just stop paying for reasons unknown.
