I went with Student Letting Guys for 2 different properties whilst at university. I would not recommend to anyone. The first property we rented from them we never heard from them once. Even when we requested the deposit back. The second property recently was also an awful experience. They never reply to you. They say they don't work weekends or out of hours but there's so emergency number to call so if you've been burgled or your house burns down they'd still be nobody to call. There was endless problems or maintenance issues that they always took ages to fix. Then when we moved out they charged us for endless things that weren't even made by us. Marks on the wall that were there when we got there and we had proof however when trying to dispute this they choose to not reply and ignore all your emails and calls. They also tried to charge over £500 for cleaning alone. This is ridiculous. Another letting company I have been with only charged £150 previously. The student letting guys only care about taking students money, they don't care for their customers. If you want to end up with no deposit left and the worst living experience then sure go with them!

The most useless group of letting agents. Do not care about tenants, only care about making money off students. They let the landlord control the heating in an old Victorian home, which gets very cold even in the autumn, without informing tenants....
