Ponzi Scheme! (TLDR; He's running a scam where he repays 1-2 year old creditors with new tenants' deposit instead of putting it in TDS deposit scheme)
1. Initial Agreement and Payment:
- Found the property on SpareRooms and agreed to rent it after being promised all maintenance would be completed before moving in on 5th October 2023.
- Paid a holding deposit on 29th September 2023 and agreed to an increased rent with a 3-month break-in period.
2. Delay in Moving In:
- Keys were not received until 17th October 2023, three weeks after the promised date.
- Maintenance works (changing the sofa, repairing intercom, changing blinds) were not done as agreed.
3. Payment Issues:
- Paid £15,000 on 6th October 2023 (3 months rent + security deposit).
- Discovered unpaid electricity bills for the past three months and couldn't transfer the bill to our name due to the contract not being signed by Idasons Ltd.
