I have had nothing but an awful service with John D Wood & do not recommend to anyone looking to rent in London. I had no working oven for the majority of my year tenancy nor a bathroom room (it was a studio property so you can imagine how gross that is). The staff I spoke to were aggressive and rude. They still have not returned my deposit which they are legally entitled to do (I moved out in April it is now August) & have given me absolutely no communication as to why it has not been returned.

I only enquires about a property. The woman on the phone was very condescending and rude. I explained that I couldn’t pay 12 months upfront as requested but had the necessary deposit etc and was able to pay rent month to month.
