Apartment Wharf appear to conduct little (if any) oversight of ads listing the properties they administer/manage (they delegate all responsibility to the tenants for advertising Apartment Wharf properties, with zero oversight from them). In my case it led to one of the properties they manage being incorrectly advertised. Originally I would have been taking over the final two months of an existing tenant contract, and subsequently extending the tenancy. However, upon completion of my application reference check, and having paid the first month rent in full, because Apartment Wharf appear to take a very hands off approach to the ads listing the property they manage it was not until this stage (six days before I was planning on moving) they informed me I would in fact have no option to extend my tenancy beyond the first two months. I would move in and then have to move out just two months later.
As we had not yet finalised a contract, following my complaints against Apartment Wharf, they sought permission form the landlord to cancel my application, even though they confirmed I had passed the reference checks and I had paid the first month rent in full.
Apartment Wharf accepted zero responsibility for the miscommunication which resulted in the property they manage being incorrectly advertised, and following my posting of a negative review of Apartment Wharf on this site they threatened me with legal action if my review was not removed. I did not remove the review, and even updated it to reflect the threats of legal action against me.
I am yet to receive a refund of the funds I paid to Apartment Wharf, although I have received an automated system notification that my holding deposit will be refunded, but no system notification as of yet when the remainder will be refunded.
I would strongly advise avoiding this agency.

They insisted the “listing stated a two-month tenancy term, with short lets.” which is a deliberate lie. The screenshot of their own property listing I sent them on 29 July showed the listing was for a minimum of two months, no maximum term, but with “short lets considered”. They clearly have no problems with lying.
This sets the tone for the remainder of the points they made, at no point where they remotely aware of the listing advertising their own property (they leave it to the tenant to do their job for them by the looks of it), seemingly believing there was no issue with the incorrect listing because they had included alternate information elsewhere, they inexplicably put the onus on me to be absolutely sure the listing for their own property was correct, & they insisted I had not included information relating to the refund of my payments to them in my review when to anyone with eyes who can read would have seen I unambiguously had stated what I had received & when in my review & comment update.
Key takeaways, Apartment Wharf are a deeply unprofessional & inept organisation who clearly lie & employed the use of baseless threats of legal action as an intimidation tactic to coerce the removal of my entirely factual review of their organisation.
