I recently engaged Harry to help sell my property following some previous interactions with him as a potential buyer for other properties in the past. The property I ultimately chose to purchase was also listed under Arins, so I was able to experience his service as a vendor and buyer which was outstanding in both respects.

As a seller: Harry visited me at home to perform the valuation, he was not pushy at all and had come very prepared and it is very clear that he has an excellent understanding of the market – not just the properties under his remit but also registered and recently sold with other agents. I decided to sign up with him and he was very efficient. The photos and house staging he completed with me was great, I really appreciated his advice on what to do in order to market the property to appeal to potential buyers. We listed the property on a Saturday, by Monday we had a fully booked open house the following Saturday and offers started rolling in from the Monday.

As a buyer: I have viewed a few houses with Harry now and he is excellent, he makes sure that as a visitor we act appropriately (e.g. remove footwear etc) which was reassuring and one of my main drivers to choose Arins as my agent as I trusted him to do the same for my home. During viewings, he provides helpful guidance and ideas when looking around and providing feedback and was able to answer all questions I had.

We had some challenges as we proceeded through the legals with my buyers and also the house I was buying, but during this process Harry was in constant contact and was available for any questions, and we built up a working relationship with strong, honest, open communication. Harry handled all issues very efficiently and is a master at negotiating and resolving issues with all parties with sensitivity and understanding. When dealing with transactions like this, I believe it is very important to be fair and impartial, and he demonstrated his ability to do this skilfully on several occasions. He also provided useful contacts such as other vendors to help solve problems (e.g. man with a van, surveyors) which is very helpful. I was also supported by Chrissie during this time who was fantastic.

I am not planning to move again any time soon, but if I do decide to, Harry will be the first person to call, and I would strongly recommend his services to anyone who is planning to sell their property. He made what is usually a very stressful situation much less so, and in my opinion was worth every penny of the fees they charge.
