Worst letting agency in the UK. Please, first of all, take a look at the attached pictures; these were the conditions my partner and I were living in. They kept saying they would fix this issue but they never did and it was progressively getting worse since the damage was coming from a leak inside the wall (clearly not our fault). The issue wasn't initially visible because they painted over the wall and they did this again for the next tenants after we moved out (we noticed walking by the house from outside the window). Apart from this major issue, any other issue was also never resolved because of the UNBELIEVABLE INCOMPETENCE OF THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE, who also charged us randomly over £200 for some lights flickering even though they were already in those conditions when we moved in. We were also paying the non-deposit scheme, meaning that the extra money we were paying every month should have been used for this kind of stuff but no, this agency loves scamming and charging people with no valid reason without doing any work. AVOID THIS LETTING AGENCY!

I’ve heard similar and can certainly concur on their condescending manner. There is an implicit attitude that a renter is somehow a lesser person than a landlord. They suffer from staff turnover so continuity is an issue. They moved their office out to Worthing, ironically because of the cost of renting an office in Brighton but also I suspect to reduce in person visits from the great unwashed. ...

Had a similar situation. Lived in a one bedroom flat in hove, had to wait over a month after tenancy end to see my deductions (not actually receive any money). Over £200 taken off deposit for cleaning alone. Took videos before i left - of course it wasn't in any state to need to spend that money on cleaning. They also are absolutely hopeless on email. Usually wait almost a week for any response. ...
