This company managed a building of 76 flats between 2020 and 2024 and the communal areas were continually unclean, lights broken, lift broken for 2 weeks, no cover for concierge illness or annual leave. The staff they employed are lovely, just unable to do their job under terrible management. Failing after failing. Would not let them look after a 1 bed house while on holiday for a week.

Katy, just found your review & couldn't agree with you more. I own & live in a flat in a development managed (if you can call it that) by Butlins. They never visit, electric gates broken for over a year, repairs in communal areas substandard, garden left scruffy & uncared for etc. Butlin staff breathtakingly arrogant even breached our lease and only ceased when we got a solicitor at our own cost. Service charges increase every year without explanation & won't provide a statement of what was actually spent at the end of the year. You are well rid of them.

I will summarise the response here. - There are emergency numbers posted on the notice boards. - An emergency call out for a contractor to assess and then gain access to the property would have taken over an hour - The most effective emergency number in this scenario was 999. - We manage the Building for the management company and the shareholders of the company/building. - We do not hold keys ...
