I was told I qualified for a mortgage even though I'm self employed but for some reason my mortgage advisor Niall from the Denton branch informed the lenders that I was off after surgery! Who tells a money lender that information? So I then got refused even though proceedings were going ahead and now I owe money for no apparent reason. I have legitimate companies and I pay my taxes. I honestly feel him telling them information about my private life changed the lenders minds. Not impressed and I won't use again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to receive this 1-star review, particularly as the bank's decision was explained to you in July.
The Financial Service industry is heavily regulated and we are legally obliged to pass all relevant information to a mortgage lender. Several factors will be assessed in the lender's decision whether they wish to lend, but legally we cannot withhold information that may impact that decision.
