We began our journey with Henstock from emailing to organising a viewing. The email was quickly responded to and a viewing was organised without any hassle. The viewing was also worked around me and when I could make it (the other houses I went to view were given times and some I couldn’t make due to work ect..) So the experience was already so positive with Henstock! Andrew who helped organise the viewing and answered all my questions on emails has also been amazing! The wait time for a response is so little and every question was answered in a way a first time renter, like myself, could understand everything- thank you Andrew!
When arriving at the viewing, we was greeted by Philip and he was welcoming and also very helpful to answer all questions about the house. He gave me lots of information about how to apply for the house and what the next steps would be if I was to be picked by the landlord, again, all the questions were answered in a way for me to understand due to me never renting before or viewing a property before.
I received an email a few days later after applying asking for personal details for checks- I contacted Henstock and asked if this means we are confirmed to have the property and they were very open, honest and helpful explaining to me that until all checks are done nothing can be confirmed. I sent off all my checks and then had to send some documents off to Legal For Landlords and they were very helpful and quick with responding to all my questions too!
During my time waiting for the checks to be completed, I contacted Andrew via emails and also the shop contact number with even more questions and any updates and these were always answered to the best of their knowledge. I really couldn’t fault Henstock.
I had the confirmation email and asked when would I like the keys! A date was organised and again to work around myself! I was greeted again by Philip at the property and he went through all the terms and conditions and all paperwork throughly so I understand it all. He again answered all my questions and reassured if there was anything we needed, don’t hesitate to call or email! I wasn’t concerned or worried as Henstock had already met very high standards during the whole process.
My overall experience with Henstock has been absolutely amazing as there isn’t anything I could fault them on. Helpful, kind and reassuring! Again a special thank you to Philip and Andrew!
