Not good at all, we all know the current housing market is slow, I originally had my house up for sale privatley and had around 6 viewings over a 3 month period. I wanted to try get things moving faster so I put it up with Bairstow Eve.

A man came over to value property he was very polite and professional. He later came back again took measurements and photos for advertising the prop. One of the unique selling points of my house are the sizes of rooms so I was disappointed to see my prop advertised without this info therefore I had to call them and request this was included. Couple of weeks on I have a viewing, went well and they wanted to talk money there and then. I told them to go through the estate agent if they wanted to make an offer. 1 week passed and I heard nothing from the agent so I called them asking for feedback on the viewing and the response was that they hadn't heard from the client.

3 month passes and I'm a little concerned that I have heard nothing from Bairstow Eve since they advertised my house so I call for a update and to see if we can move things along a bit. The lady said we haven't had any response to your house since the person who viewed made an offer...WHAT? This ridiculous conpany never rung to put the offer forward to me. Apparently they took it upon thereselves to decide this offer was too low, then the lady backtracked and said she thought I had been informed of this offer. I asked to speak to a manager who was convieniently not there until after the bank hol.

The lady rant the viewers and asked if they were still interested in my house and they asked to come look at it again, a date was scheduled and they never turned up. I am now wondering if Bairstow Eve made this up to get me off their case regarding the fact they never put offer to me. I am absalouly furious about the whole thing as house sales are few and far between at moment and that was our chance to sell. I am now waiting for the manager to call me tomorro morning but I plan to go to the property ombudsman regarding this.
