I was immediately impressed with the service I received from Townends. Josh, who was my first contact within the company, called me almost immediately after I had showed interest in a property and arranged a viewing for me. He was extremely personable on the call - I finally felt like I was dealing with someone who was genuinely interested in helping me find the right place for me as opposed to someone who just wanted to get a property off their hands so they can make some money (which is the experience I have had with many estate agents, Foxtons being the worst). This helpful and genuine service continued when I viewed the flat and I am pleased to say that I fell in love with the place and immediately put an offer in.
Having put an offer on the flat, and having had it accepted, Josh and Clint were both extremely helpful in keeping me up to date with progress, sending me the relevant forms and generally being extremely pleasant to deal with whilst also being patient with me when I kept filling in forms wrong thanks to long days in the office.
My offer is still going through however, to date, I can not fault the service I have received from both Josh and Clint. Before dealing with Townends I had had extremely unpleasant experiences with estate agents so I was not looking forward to flat hunting again. However Josh made the early part of the process (flat viewing, putting in an offer) extremely easy and both Josh and Clint have made the remainder of it stress free.
I would highly recommend this estate agent.
