Unfortunately samara who runs this company seems to not care for sticking to the regulations nor for being fair and reasonable. Not sure if it’s greed or she doesn’t want the bother, but my daughter rented a house through Cloud9 and when they moved in she discovered a serious gas leak even though a gas safety check had apparently just been completed. The gas supply was totally isolated because it was so dangerous and they had no gas (so no heating, cooking or hot water) for 5 days. Samara’s view was that was tough luck and we were expected to pay the full rent even though the landlord obligations were not being met. Terrible treatment from start to finish and way too many bad things to list in this review but in the end I had to go to the ombudsman who found in my favour.

Comment on agent fees
I was refunded the fees as the contract agreement was illegal, though the Cloud 9 refused to comment & has cut off contact despite my following the recommended steps by the property ombudsman in addressing complaint. No procedure was supplied though I asked & I'm still waiting a response having sent evidence to Cloud ( & asking them to respond & address the issue.
