I am so glad I chose to go with Richard James. They had sold the flat to me previously, and I was impressed with them as a buyer, I was even more impressed with them as a seller.
Firstly Kelly is a superstar. Having initially sold the flat, she had to break the news that the first buyer had pulled out. She then went above and beyond to keep the chain alive. She arranged a viewing for the Sunday and was on standby to help the person viewing it find the address. A new offer came in on the Monday and now the dream move is a reality. Thank you so much Kelly.
The whole team are brilliant are really professional and were a joy to deal with. The process felt very personal and nothing was too much trouble. Yes, there are cheaper estate agents out there, but in my opinion you pay for quality and I would 100% use Richard James again.
The only concern I raised to Richard James during this process came in the fact they use an external Sales Progressor, to handle the chain and to obviously 'progress' the sale. In my experience I felt this made this part of it less personal and it felt like at times I was the one driving the sale and onward purchase forward, as on multiple occasions I was giving updates to the progressor, when this should have been the other way around. There was nothing fundamentally wrong with their service, but when I'd originally bought my flat from RJ, all of this was in house and it did feel more personal.
That said, the service as a whole was 5 star and as said above I would recommend Richard James to anyone. Ellis, Courtney and Kelly are hardworking, passionate and the best at what they do.
