Disappointed. We used this estate agents when buying a property on behalf of our mother. Sadly, we are now selling said property, returning to Pearsons once again. We listed property for 10 weeks and in that time was contacted only once to notify a viewing. No courtesy call made to keep us updated. When we called into the shop asking for an update we were left confused whether the lady we spoke to even worked there as was very unprofessional and couldn't answer our questions, we only wanted to know if there had been any interest! At the end of our 10 week contract we cancelled with Pearsons. A week later Pearsons wanted to show around someone (even though we had moved agents) so it was agreed that they would do so. Person made an offer, which we declined as was far from the asking price. Michelle then telephoned my husband stating that the vendor would not be buying our property as the asking price we wanted was too high and that he had found somewhere that was nicer than our flat! RUDE!! For an estate agents with such a brilliant reputation I feel that comments like these are very damaging. We understood as sellers that we are obliged to accept or decline offers we do not see fit, thats our perogative. It has made me glad that we will not have to deal with Pearsons in the future. I shall definitely never recommend them to anyone asking.
