The highest level of incompetence I have ever experienced with an estate agent on both sales and lettings departments. We experienced blatant lying, missed payments to us, work being invoiced to us but not actually done, slow responses to everything, not following through on requests. When we put our place up for sale with the agent, they did not list it for a month, and 8 months later, one member of the sales team did not know it was on the market with them. I had expected more from Walton and Allen but the only thing they did well was to repeatedly fail to deliver.
There are better estate agents in the area you can chose from,

Extremely dissatisfied with the letting and maintenance departments. They either lie to you or don’t know what they are doing, or simply cover their own mistakes. They ignore landlords’ instructions regarding their property, Don’t sign with them for renting your property....

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
