Romans lettings in Camberley. Their modus operandi is very simple for ripping a tenant's deposit is very simple. It is done legally and officially in connivance with their " recommended cleaning company (2 of them who quote similar prices - prices which are 3 times more than those of normal cleaning companies) and their "independant inventory clerks" - Oakley and Jane. You have to use " their recommended" cleaning company . If you use the other normal cleaning companies, the "independant inventory clerks" Oakley Jane, will make sure, that they put the remarks that the cleaning has not been "upto their standard"! Tenants who have the patience and energy who then take up the issue of deductions with the TDS, come up against wasted organisation. One needs to just take a look at TDS's own website and one can see that most cases are decided in favour of the landlord or in our case the estate agent - who managed the property.

Most of our friends who have rented through Romans, in Camberley and Bracknell have all similar experiences - not that the other letting agents in UK are a great deal better. Just that Romans are probably the worst of a disgusting bunch of estate agents.

Aboslutely spot one. Oakley Jane are aboslute disgrace to "3rd party" word. They clearly protect land lord and loot tenant deposit.

Exactly what im dealing with again one year later!
Spent all week telling them their charges are crazy.

Just selected the property and paid the initial amount but cancelled the property in an hour after heard a very bad remark about this agency from my close friend. They refused to refund and informed that they did some underground work with my money. Most of the cases they do charge every 6months with tenancy renewal fee and all the maintenance they blame the tenant and charge. How come this many positive feedback for this worst agency? Stay ...
