Completely AVOID!
All the positive reviews must be either fake or by people that have been somehow lucky enough to have an okay time.
Property link offer you to sign up on a "all-bills inclusive deal" that you only have a chance to read over when you are in their office, where you have to sign the documents there and then, you do not get offered to take them away to read over.
They cap your bills to an unreasonably small amount (~£400 each in a 7 person property) and then take about 3k to pocket for themselves to "manage" your bills, take meter readings and liaise with companies which they do not even do. Currently our internet bill is extortionate (£52/month for the barebones basic package) and they used the gas energy crisis as an excuse for it being so high, when I am almost certain its because it is on a rolling contract and has never been looked at/renewed.
They took the previous tenant's deposit in our property to replace a sofa they damaged, we have been here 10 months and the sofa is yet to be replaced. We got told it would be delivered before Christmas, then after Christmas "as there was an issue getting sofas delivered before christmas"??then we got told "next week" several months ago.
They will not reply to emails for weeks at a time and constantly lie to you about timeframes in regards to maintenance. They say they will get it looked at and then when you ask them about it a couple of weeks later, they have forgotten all about it.
They also try to gaslight you over the phone if you are ringing about issues. A couple of weeks ago the fire alarm in our flat block was going off at 6am, we rang the emergency number and the person on the other end told us there should be a key there for the fire panel to access and turn the alarm off and reassured us that "he was in the block last week and saw the key". The key was not there, it was never there since we moved in last July. He advised us an electrician was coming to look at the alarm at 7am. The alarm never got turned off until 9:30am, there was no electrician, they came and sorted it themselves I assume, they told us about an electrician to fob us off.
We had maintenance work done at the start of the tenancy, resulting in the front door of our flat not closing. I rang them to report this and they told me that I must be shutting the door wrong as it was shut when the maintenance man left, I reassured him that I know how to close a door and that the door was left open by the maintenance man. A handyman eventually came around 3 hours later to sort the door after having to practically beg over the phone.
