Hayley, First of all I am so upset and sadden that you feel the need to take the time to leave me a 2 star review! I feel overwhelmed to defend myself.
I was dealing with 3 properties in the chain and the one at the top as you know was with another agent. One of my clients had had a very bad experience on the survey report of the property that she was buyer, so subsequently pulled out of the sale. Naturally, this was extremely frustrating for the rest of the chain however they has lived in their home for 33 years and the next move had to be right for them so decided they were not going to move into rented accommodation. At every point you were updated along with the rest of the chain. Although it was not easy for anyone and it was extremely stressful for all involved. Whenever I updated you you came across as very disbelieving, like I was hiding something from you, I honestly did not know what to say when you gave us a deadline of completion before Christmas or you are pulling out of the sale? At that time the chain was not even complete! Only to be told by you afterwards that you were happy to proceed?
Becky updated you regularly as she was speaking to the solisiotors. Calling you daily was simply not possible as we were trying our hardest to work to very strict deadlines once the top of the chain finally did get completed. We were careful to make sure that all communications with you were backed up by email as and when we had any updates to be given.
You had exchanged telephone numbers with the other two parties in the chain so I knew you were also in contact which is fine, however I knew on exchange day that I could not give you an exact time when I could hand over the key, so simply suggested that the short walk of 200 meters would be easier, this was not a problem for you at the time of suggestion?
I completely understand that this was an extremely stressful chain/experience however I found your attitude and the manner in which you spoke to me to be unacceptable which is totally uncalled for. Another house went onto the market in the same village and you rang me up accusing me of trying to sell your forward purchase to them behind your back? No agent should have to accept that!
My dealings with everyone else in the chain had been very positive, sorry I did not feel like buying you flowers!?
I am completely confident in the fact that I offer a 5 star service Hayley, sorry you don't agree.
