Was moved im to a dirty ,unhygienic , hazardous flat. Unfortunately did not notice at the viewing as the viewing was rushed and was also told the property would be clean prior to moving in. Mouldy, rotting food in fridge/ freezer , dirt on the floor, leaking boiler which had leaked in to the washing machine again causing more mould.
Attempts to resolve issues were ignored or avoided. Eventually had to clean out the mouldy fridge myself putting my own health at risk to god knows what was in there and how long it was in there. Whole building in general is falling apart. Lack of care from the whole team at Leeds branch. They do not care about making the tenant happy only care about taking your money. In the long run will also backfire for landlords who “entrust” Bridgfords to manage their properties as the maintenance is poor and no prospective tenant in their right mind wouldwant to ever stay in a dump like this. Would move out if I could but have to stay for the duration of my tenancy in a disgusting flat which has a silver fish and gnat problem due to the dampness in the flat from the leaking boiler + gaps in the crevices of the walls. Would not recommend to future tenants , home buyers or landlords.
Extremely poor communication. You are constantly ignored. Branch manager is essentially non existent. Prior to moving in would reply to my emails promptly but once I moved in and the problems started from day 1 of moving in , she disappeared. Absolute joke of a company.
