Having been managed badly by another leading local estate agent prior to signing up with bourne, we were very sure about what we wanted from our estate agent. Throughout the time the sale of our house was managed by bourne, I cannot identify even one small fault with their customer service. They were very professional, realistic and clear and their communication was excellent. Even when a previous potential sale was being managed between two of their offices, both offices knew what the other were doing and were always up to date with their information and progression in terms of viewings. They were excellent throughout. I cannot see that you would get a better service anywhere else.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Try to understand your customers' perspective. Don't patronise your clients, and perhaps an apology for your errors would be a start.

Exactly the same experience here. They had the property we bought on the market for well over a year, but when we started the conveyancing process it was totally unready for sale - missing building regs, FENSA certificates - you name it. Wasted huge amounts of our solicitors time (and our money) chasing and chasing to get things done, with total incompetence from the Bourne team *. Ugh!! And even at the end, when they knew they'd fouled up, not a whimper of an apology - they clearly didn't care ...
