I would definitely not recommend Dexters, as their service is terrible and far from respecting the law. The employees seem to lack expertise and knowledge.
We have rented out an apartment in Ada Place near Broadway Market. It happened several times when the flat was about to sell, that the agents illegally came to the flat with potential buyers without notifying us in advance, or telling us only a few hours in advance. Once, I have been working from home and the agent came to the flat without 24-hour notice and tried to kick me out of the flat for the time of the viewing. I did not call the police as I couldn't bother because I was busy. Not only did he proceed to the viewing when I was working from home, without our permission, but he shouted at me, and disturbed my normal life and work. Moreover, the place wasn’t maintained by them, as required by law during our tenancy when things were broken or in bad condition like moulds, rusty handles or paint coming out of the wall. Now, when together with my flatmates we moved out from that flat on 19 Dec, as we found a much better place, we still didn't get any deposit back for more than month after moving out. Also, Dexters agent, Fahima Miah doesn't want to provide us with any information about the deposit scheme, which is also illegal.
Dealing with Dexters is just such a pain, and if you don't want to be involved in any legal cases, I would recommend you stay far away from them.
